What does your company do?

I work in the Tech Support Dept for Allianz Ireland. Globally Allianz is one of the largest insurers in the world.

How many employees do you have?

At the moment we use ePoster in our Dublin HQ, which is about 800 users.

What prompted you to seek ePoster?

At the beginning we really just wanted to change our boring standard Windows screen! After browsing on the web we came across ePoster. What struck us firstly was that we could use multiple screens and that we could easily rotate them, and modify them... so we were now looking at another way of getting messages across to the staff. We looked around for similar products, mainly to compare costs, but at the time we never found one that did the same job.

How do you use it?

We use NT4 workstations with a mix of NT and W2k Servers. We installed ePoster on the workstations. Then on my own workstation I installed ePoster Admin which allows me to add new pages, etc. The html pages are all located on standard network share. When I modify a screen I only have to do it from my machine. We have also found that ePoster Alert is a more user friendly way of broadcasting messages on our network in the event of system outages.

How frequently do you use it?

ePoster is constanly running on the 800 machines. We have a very active Sports & Social committee who organise regular events so we create pages almost monthly for them. In between events like these or any special company announcements, we constantly display technical tips, reminders, system availability etc.

How satisfied are you with the product?

I am very satisfied with ePoster. Initially we had some small teething issues with setting the software up. A lot of this was also to do with our operating systems, as we lock down the NT desktop tightly and restrict a lot of functionality. We have been in touch for support purposes via e-mail and have always received a quick response and good results.

How have employees responded?

A lot of the users are very keen to get their messages across and overall we have received very good feedback.

I should make it clear that the views given are my own personal views on my experience with the software and dealing with Leong Software. I am not in anyway speaking on behalf of my company. That said, I was the member of Tech Support who purchased, installed and maintains the software and I would definitely give ePoster top marks!
